What makes you think you're so smart that you arbitrarily label IMBooster as malicious software? IMBooster is not malware; it is adware. IMBooster changes IE's start page and collects only the minimum amount of personal information necessary for ad revenue; it does not engage in any significant destructive behavior or collect personal data. What is the big deal about a single browser check page changing that you are making the ridiculous claim that the person who created IMBooster software should be legally punished? Aren't you going too far? If you use free software, there is naturally a price to pay. Haven't you realized yet that there is no such thing as a free lunch? There are many people who consider IMBooster excellent. Does IMBooster destroy computer operating systems? Does it collect personal information? Does it commit fraud to extort money? Does it encrypt files and threaten you with Bitcoin to decrypt them? None of those are true! You wrote this terrible review simply because you installed it—and got angry that your start page changed or ads appeared—just because IMBooster is adware. Adware is neither clear-cut malware nor safe software. It is also known as grayware. It’s just a matter of being a nuisance! It appears you wrote this terrible review simply because you want IMinent, the creator of IMBooster, to go bankrupt, and to scare people into thinking it’s malware so they won't use it. If you didn't want your computer to end up like that, you shouldn't have installed it in the first place, or you should have read the license properly! You just kept clicking "agree" because you were too lazy to read the full terms! If the post was long, you should have at least read the key points at the bottom! All these licenses and privacy laws must be listed there, so it makes no sense for IMBooster to face legal punishment.
